It was indeed. A spectacular view of the valley extending all the way to Lombok island was the reword for the hike. I asked Angela afterward if she thought made sense to do it, she said yes, but I know she tends to answer what she thinks I want to hear, so will ask again…

At 3:30AM after one and half hours drive from Sanur to Ubud, we started our hike to claim Mt Batur. It got progressively harder, steeper, colder, I could see on your face you were not at ease. Pretty sure you were hating me half an hour through the hike. You were sleep deprived, cold, tired,…

Babe, today is the day. I wanted to make this with you…and in a few hours, you will see why. Last night we had good 6hours sleep, this will make a difference believe me; being prepared for challenging times is a good part of the game.
